Pharmacy Technician career story
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, shifts either 07:30–17:30 or 07:30–19:30 weekdays, across 4 days a week and every other weekend with the same shifts. On weekends you work 2/3 days during the week. Bank Holidays are worked on a rota basis.
Salary
This position is full time; you’ll receive an annual salary up to £45,101 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
* Provide outstanding quality-based, patient-centred care by listening to and acting on patient feedback so care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
* Focussing on a safe and secure medicines management service, maintaining patient records to the agreed standard and following standard operating procedures to a high and orderly standard.
* Deliver non-judgemental care within the scope of professional standards, including timely administration of medicines and analysing cost-effective prescribing as defined by the Health in Justice medicines policy.
* Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Up to date with Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
* Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
* General GCSE education or equivalent
* Able to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
Desirable
* Experience in a hospital, community or prison environment
