LI-THEAA LI-Hybrid This is the job Joining The AA as a Business Investment Analyst, you will be a crucial member of our Transformation function. Like us, you’ll be a custodian of the AA’s investment portfolios. We strive to create confidence for drivers, now and for the future through investing in strategic change and driving profitable growth. You’ll collaborate closely with the business to shape and appraise investment opportunities, support delivery, and ensure promised returns are delivered. Making the right strategic investments is key, and why you will be a crucial asset to the business supporting across investment management, cost management as well as the wider Transformation management office. What will I be doing? Track investment benefits through the development of business-led driver analysis that gives forward confidence in portfolio returns Consolidate benefits tracking into meaningful and concise analysis for Board level presentations Support the prioritisation of annual / ad-hoc Capex spend cross-portfolio; align to 5 year roadmap Work with Accountable Executives, Initiative/Project Managers and Finance Teams to develop robust business cases with OKRs and financial benefits that can be tracked and are embedded in divisional budgets Develop analysis and business models to better understand the AA’s cost base and provide insight to support decision making on the allocation of resources across the business Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive forecasting accuracy, process standardisation/optimisation and PPM tool effectiveness What do I need? Capability, Knowledge and Experience Demonstrable experience with business planning, strategy and business case development from within a medium/large scale organisation or consultancy focusing ideally on B2C/B2B2C services and/or Insurance Strong financial analysis and excel modelling skills; investment benefit tracking / analysis capability Experienced in investigating, developing and appraising solutions to commercial opportunities with a high attention to detail Strong understanding & experience of investment, financial and business controls Strong stakeholder engagement experience with varying levels of stakeholders i.e., Senior Leaders, Executives and Directors across all business areas/functions …but more about you Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within immediate and cross-functional teams Strong business growth mindset Relentless focus on accuracy, quality and attention to detail Flexible and able to balance multiple projects/priorities Passionate and excellent problem solver with an intellectual curiosity Additional Information We’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
