Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic, values‑driven Deputy Director to join the senior leadership team. This role works closely with the CEO/Artistic Director and plays a central part in shaping the organisation’s development, effectiveness and long‑term sustainability.
Job Description
NNCA is relaunching and opening a new cultural destination at 24 Guildhall Road – a landmark home for exhibitions, artist studios, digital practice, learning and community programmes. This is a pivotal moment in the organisation’s evolution, bringing together artists, communities and partners to shape a new cultural anchor for Northampton.
Salary: £42,000‑£45,000 (depending on experience). Hours: Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week. Built‑in progression pathway to full directorship.
Person Specification

* A successful track record in fundraising
* Strong financial literacy, HR experience and robust project management skills

* Oversee financial management alongside the Finance Manager

* Manage relationships with partners, funders and stakeholders
* Help define NNCA’s next chapter by guiding organisational direction, developing a strong leadership culture, and ensuring our work remains rooted in artists, communities and collaborative values
