About The Role
You will join a dedicated and experienced team specializing mainly in wastewater, clean water projects, infrastructure, or non-infrastructure projects. We seek candidates with a Civil Engineering background from their studies.
The team collaborates across the UK, offering flexibility regarding your office location in Exeter, Nottingham, or Wakefield. You will work on key projects in the Water sector, such as the recent upgrade of the Arley Sewage Treatment Works to meet water quality standards under the Water Framework Directive. Joining Pell Frischmann means becoming part of a multidisciplinary team where you will receive training and experience in your chosen field. You will also participate in our 2-year Graduate Programme, designed around professional accreditation requirements, providing opportunities for networking and developing skills in project management, business, and personal effectiveness.
Main Duties
1. Support project implementation to meet client requirements and standards.
2. Assist in preparing designs, drawings, and schedules within your discipline.
3. Contribute to scheme evaluations, design statements, tender documents, and other deliverables.
4. Develop an understanding of relevant standards, Codes of Practice, Health & Safety legislation, and current design best practices.
5. Learn BIM standards such as BS1192, PAS1192, and ISO19650.
6. Engage with clients, contractors, and third parties, including reviewing third-party design proposals.
7. Understand and adhere to BMS procedures.
