With continued growth and several exciting developments entering the technical and construction phases, they are now seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist with strong knowledge of RIBA Stages 4–6 to strengthen their delivery team.Your New RoleAs an Architectural Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in the detailed design, technical development, and on‑site delivery of projects. You will be responsible for taking schemes from technical design through construction and handover, ensuring quality,pliance, and technical excellence throughout. Your responsibilities will include:Technical Design & Coordination (RIBA Stage 4)
1. Developing fully coordinated technical drawing packages
2. Producing detailed construction information using CAD software
3. Resolvingplex technical challenges and proposing buildable solutions
4. Coordinating with consultants, engineers, and specialist suppliers
Tendering & Procurement (RIBA Stage 4–5)
5. Preparing tender documentation, specifications, and schedules
6. Assisting with contractor queries during the tender process
7. Providing technical input during procurement and negotiation phases
Construction & Site Delivery (RIBA Stage 5–6)
8. Conducting regular site inspections and producing clear site reports
9. Monitoring construction quality,pliance, and progress
10. Responding to contractor RFIs and providing timely technical guidance
11. Managing amendments, overseeing snagging, and supporting projectpletion
12. Liaising with building control, planning authorities, and regulatory bodies
Project Management & Collaboration
13. Leading technical coordination meetings
14. Maintaining accurate and organised project documentation
15. Working closely with internal design teams to ensure seamless project delivery
16. Contributing to continual improvement of technical standards and processes
What You Will Need to Succeed
17. Strong experience working as an Architectural Technologist, ideally with a RIBA Stage 4–6 delivery focus
18. A degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a related discipline
19. A collaborative, proactive, and detail‑driven approach
20. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft 365, SketchUp, and InDesign
21. Working knowledge of Revit (desirable)
22. A solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
