Machine Operative – Wigan People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join our well-established client based in Wigan. Shifts: • Monday – Friday: 6am - 3pm Rates of Pay: • £13.50 per hour Benefits: As a Machine Operative, you will receive: • Opportunity for growth and career development • Full training and ongoing support • Dynamic and supportive team environment • Free site parking • Paid breaks Day-to-Day Duties: As a Machine Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Assisting with the operation and basic maintenance of production lines to ensure smooth and efficient processes • Reading, understanding, and following detailed work instructions to maintain quality and consistency • Monitoring and inspecting products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met • Adhering to all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment Essential Skills: The skills required to be a Machine Operative are: • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow work instructions accurately • A team-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively to meet production targets Desirable Experience: • Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment (advantageous but not essential) • Availability to start work as soon as possible Training: • Company policy and procedure training provided to successful candidates Apply If you are interested in this role, please apply today to be considered.
