Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
Work 1:1 or with small groups to reinforce learning and support progress
Assist with classroom preparation, displays, and general organisation
Promote positive behaviour and help manage classroom routines
Support pupils with SEN or additional needs, including speech & language or SEMH
Help create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment
Candidate Requirements
Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
A genuine passion for supporting learning and child development
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
Willingness to support pupils with varying needs, including SEN and EAL
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, a degree in education/psychology) are advantageous but not essential
