Due to continued growth and an expanding client portfolio, we are looking to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Consultant / Advisor to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking consultancy where you will play a key role in supporting clients with compliance, improving site standards, and delivering practical Health & Safety solutions across live environments.
The role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews
* Undertaking scaffold inspections
* Producing RAMS, risk assessments, and Health & Safety documentation
* Providing practical Health & Safety advice to clients and site teams
* Supporting clients with compliance against UK legislation and industry standards
* Assisting with accident/incident investigations and reporting
* Supporting toolbox talks, briefings, and training initiatives
* Identifying areas for continual improvement across client operations
* Building positive relationships with clients and operatives on site
Essential Requirements
* NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
* Minimum 3 years’ site-based experience within construction or related sectors
* Previous experience within a Health & Safety role
* Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation
* Experience carrying out site inspections and audits
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable
* IOSH Membership (TechIOSH or above)
* Scaffold Inspection qualification/experience
* Experience within housing, construction, or facilities management sectors
* Experience producing RAMS and compliance documentation
* Additional Health & Safety qualifications or training experience
