**Interior Design Lead Job in Chorley, Lancashire **
An Interior Design Lead job is now available with a Lancashire based, award-winning architecture practice. This role will suit a creative, natural born leader with a passion for all things design and a track record of working in a similar role within the public sector.
The practice has an ever-growing portfolio of healthcare projects and a team of just under 100 people including designers, architects and technicians. They are currently looking for an experienced interior designer to lead the team, liaise directly with clients and help develop their interior design services.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Leading a team of 4
2. Running/overseeing projects from concept to completion
3. Producing and reviewing presentational materials and drawings
4. Working alongside architects and technical designers as well as wider design teams
5. Bidding for stand-alone ID work
6. Working directly with clients including hosting and running workshops
7. Undertaking research with directors as required
8. Reporting to Directors and senior leadership teams.
Required Skills & Experience
9. 7+ years’ interior design experience with proven experience in a similar, leading role
10. Experience in the public sector. Healthcare experience highly beneficial but not essential
11. Demonstrable experience in managing/overseeing projects from initial brief through to installation
12. Ability to inspire and successfully lead designers whilst working with internal and external teams
13. Confident presenting to and liaising directly with clients
14. Bidding/pitching experience
15. Good technical knowledge and skills
16. Knowledge of Revit, Enscape and Lumion are advantageous but not essential.
