About The Role Ensure Correla’s statutory Data Protection obligation are met, acting as the defacto Data Protection Officer Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in driving understanding and guidance for the business in its adoption of Privacy and Data Governance strategies, policies, processes and technologies Manage and evolve the privacy by design culture within Product Development lifecycle Manage and ensure all Data Subject Access Requests are fulfilled within the obligated timescales Lead and support horizon scanning for new legislation/threats to enable Correla to stay protected. Support contractual development for Clients and Suppliers Provide expert support to the Legal and Procurement teams Lead and support the Privacy and Data Governance team in ensuring BAU processes are followed and robust. Lead and continuously develop the training and awareness programme to build and embed Data Protection understanding and responsibilities. Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions, and maintain strong professional relationships. About You You will have recognised Data Protection certifications of at least IAPP CIPP-E and IAPP CIPM or equivalent You will have expert knowledge of Data Protection laws You will have knowledge and experience in implementing Industry standard Data Governance Frameworks You will have experience of implementing Data Privacy policies and processes e.g. ROPA, Data Classification, DPIA You will have experience and expertise auditing and managing multiple and large Record of Processing Activities and reviews.
