Role: Specialist Dating & Social Support for Alexander
Location: Fulham / Central London
Hours: 4 hours per week (Flexible / As needed)

The Mission
Alexander is a brilliant, high-functioning 32 year-old man with Asperger's and ADHD. He also has DiGeorge Syndrome. Despite learning difficulties, he is really good company and brightens everyone's day.
Alexander is a published blogger, a museum volunteer, chess tutor and calls himself "The Humble Historian." As he shares on his blog, navigating the "intense experience" of the dating world can be difficult.
We are seeking a Psychology Graduate to act as a mentor and coach, helping Alexander build meaningful connections while maintaining healthy social boundaries.
What You Will Do:
* Dating Strategy: Help Alexander navigate dating apps, create an authentic profile, and screen potential matches.
* Boundary Coaching: Use your psychological background to provide clear, direct guidance on social cues, personal boundaries, and "reading the room."
* Social Confidence: Help him manage the "proclivity to hermit" and the anxiety that can come with dating.
* Practical Support: Conduct role-play conversations, help him plan dates, and provide "de-brief" sessions after social outings.
About You:
* Education: A Degree in Psychology (or currently finishing your final year).
* Skillset: You understand the theory behind social interaction and can translate it into practical, everyday advice.
* Communication: You are kind but very direct. You aren't afraid to set firm boundaries or give honest feedback.
* Reliability: You are professional and understand the importance of consistency.
Requirements:
* Must have a current Enhanced DBS check or be willing to undergo one.
* Strong interest in neurodiversity (Autism/ADHD).
* Based in or near London with the ability to meet in Fulham/Central London.
