Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for a world-class candidate to lead our Partner Sales function in ANZ. As the Head of Sales, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of Amazon’s cloud platform services across AWS’s most strategic business partners and their customers.
As part of the ANZ Leadership Team at AWS, this role will be responsible for our ANZ Partner Strategy - connecting our AWS Partner Network's solutions and capacity and our customers.
Leading the Partners Everywhere strategy, this leader will manage a diverse team of Partner Sales Managers whose remit every day is to help customers transform through the use of our APN services and solutions.
The AWS Partner Network includes the largest systems integration and consulting companies as well as thousands of innovative software and services companies who are using AWS as their cloud platform of choice.
Key job responsibilities
1. Develop and own the execution of the ANZ Partner Strategy
2. Drive proactive sales planning with our Partners to ensure the business can meet its customer aspirations
3. Ensure that AWS ANZ has the right capacity of Partner Sellers in our APN to support our Field motions
4. Lead a sales governance structure for the Partner Sales Team
5. Own CxO relationship in our AWS Partner Network in ANZ
6. Develop the right team to ensure both Partner and Customer success
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 10+ years of technology related sales or business development experience
2. 5+ years of people manager experience
3. Prior experience working with consulting partners or system integrators to achieve sales revenue targets
4. Experience leading major initiatives in a multi-national environment with internal and external stakeholders across sales, business development and program management
5. Proven ability to deliver results
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Sales Leadership with proven results working with Partners
2. Cloud or SaaS platform experience
3. Passion for helping Partnerships grow
4. Entrepreneurial “builder” mentality
