Our client, is recruiting a Multi Skilled Production Engineer to join its experienced engineering team.
Key Responsibilities - Multi Skilled Production Engineer
1. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all production equipment to minimise downtime.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out repairs effectively.
3. Ensure all equipment is maintained in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and industry best practices.
4. Identify areas for improvement within the production process and propose solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
5. Assist in the implementation of process improvement projects, including machinery upgrades and layout changes.
6. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the engineering team.
7. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in all engineering activities.
8. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including completed tasks, spare parts used, and any necessary follow-up actions.
