An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as an Occupational Health Adviser in People Services.
Responsibilities
* Undertake sickness absence consultations for Police officers and Police Staff and formulate management reports and rehabilitation programs.
* Triage Occupational Health referrals for assignment to the Occupational Health Adviser (OHA), Force Medical Adviser (FMA) or other specialist advisers.
* Liaise with the Occupational Health Manager on all aspects of Occupational Health and keep updated with changes to national standards and legislation, impacting on the Police Service.
Working pattern: Full time – 37 hours. Typically 3 days on site in Carmarthen Police Headquarters, 2 days working from home. This working pattern will be applicable once all training has been fully completed. Please note: some flexibility will be required due to organisational need such as attendance at events, meetings, training/CPD days etc.
