Community Host / Leisure Assistant – Brighton Aldridge Community Academy – Brighton, East Sussex
Salary: GBP10.00 – GBP12.21 per hour

Job Purpose: To welcome our Hirers and their groups into the schools' facilities, ensuring all facilities are opened and set up on time for each visit.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Deliver a world-class experience for our hirers, ensuring all customers receive a positive and memorable experience. Assist hirers with setting up facilities for lettings and other school-related events, from setting up a badminton net to switching on floodlights.
* Undertake light cleaning duties to ensure the school's premises are always left as found, such as sweeping and tidying chairs or storing equipment.
* Ensure the security and safety of the school by unlocking and locking gates and doors securely at the start and end of shifts.
* Complete health and safety checks throughout the shift, report hazards or faulty equipment via our platform to maintain high standards and safety.
* Full training is provided, including an introduction to the school site, safeguarding, manual handling, fire safety, and customer service.
* The Community Host may also support other activities to assist the school, hirers, and the Vivify team.
