About the role
This ‘Outstanding’ SEND school, based in Sunderland, supports children and young people aged 5-11 and is looking to appoint a passionate Classroom Support Assistant to work in either Key Stage 1 or 2 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this Primary SEND school as part of an established team, the desired Classroom Support Assistant will be working on a small class sized basis with pupils with SEND including Autism (ASC) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). This full time Classroom Support Assistant role is long term from April ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Classroom Support Assistant you will:
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children.
2. Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
3. A passion for the progress of SEND primary school pupils.
4. An ability to work as part of a team.

Salary
£350 to £450 per week
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
