An audit and accounts senior sought for a long-established independent firm of chartered accountants in Doncaster.We are looking to attract a newly qualified accountant to undertake a key role in the firm, working to support both the audit and business services departments with a range of duties.Main duties:
1. Planning Audits: Participate in the planning phase of audit engagements, including understanding client business processes, assessing risks, and developing audit strategies.
2. Executing Audits: Lead audit fieldwork by performing substantive testing, compliance testing, and analytical procedures to obtain audit evidence.
3. Audit Reporting: Assist in the preparation of audit reports, including communicating audit findings and recommendations to management and those charged with governance.
4. Supervising Staff: Supervise and review the work of junior audit team members, providing guidance, feedback, and training as necessary.
5. Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact with the client during the audit process, addressing inquiries, discussing audit findings, and managing client expectations.
