If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a BSL Lecturer at Cambridge Regional College. You will join us on a variable hours basis and in return you will receive £23.04 per hour.

Position: Lecturer in British Sign Language
Responsibilities: As a Lecturer in British Sign Language, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive introductory sign language courses to adult learners. Your primary duties will include:
1. Preparing and delivering well-structured BSL lessons that cater to learners with varying levels of prior experience.
2. Creating and utilising innovative teaching materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.
3. Assessing and evaluating students' progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their development.
4. Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and supports students of all backgrounds and abilities.
5. Collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve the BSL curriculum and overall learning experience.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
6. Possess a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and hold relevant qualifications or certifications in British Sign Language.
7. Have a proficient level of British Sign Language, with the ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate BSL concepts.
8. Prior experience in teaching BSL or related subjects to adult learners is highly desirable.
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage learners.
10. A commitment to promoting inclusivity, accessibility, and diversity within the learning environment.
