Park Recruit are partnering with a successful specialist contracting company based in the Dungannon area, in the appointment of an Accounts Assistant. Reporting to the Financial Director, this role will support the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reconciliations, and contributing to management accounts. The successful candidate will help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day finance processes. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update the sales ledger, raising and processing invoices. Assist with regular bank reconciliations. Support preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments. Prepare and submit VAT returns for UK and ROI. Process payments and allocate receipts accurately. Liaise with internal teams and external customers on account queries. Assist with ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks. Skills & Experience Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (essential). Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar). Strong numeracy and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Good organisational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. Benefits 28 days annual leave.
