About the role
We are looking for a professional and experienced Raw Material Quality Auditor (RMQA) to join our growing Technical team. As an RMQA you will ensure accurate sampling and inspection assessment of incoming raw materials (including packaging and ingredients) against the relevant specification.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver due diligence requirements within the raw material specification and site quality documentation.
* Manage stock status and stock movements of incoming and received raw materials for inspection, quarantine and other purposes.
* Ensure timely clearance of inspected raw material that is in spec.
* Raise and follow up non‑conformance reports with the supplier and Hilton Seafood buyer, ensuring they are closed and captured in the foods connected system.
* Help generate Supplier Improvement plans and drive improvement with the Raw Material Team Leader/Manager.
* Support close out of raw material issues raised by production teams and trend information for preventative action plans.
* Assist the NPD, Technical and Operational teams with development trials of new raw materials and launches.
* Provide RMQA data and traceability for customer requests during audits and visits, and support customer complaint/RCA investigations.
* Implement and report corrective actions and system improvements identified through audits or customer visits.
Required Experience and Expertise
* QA experience in a fast‑moving chilled environment.
* Experience working to retailer codes of practice.
* Experience in QA systems, implementing and continually improving them.
* Full UK driving licence.
