Job Title: ESOL Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with schools in the Twickenham area who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic ESOL Teaching Assistants to support students with English as an Additional Language (EAL/ESOL).
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for education and language support, who is keen to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
The Role:
* Support students with English as an Additional Language across KS3 and KS4
* Work 1:1 and in small groups to improve speaking, reading, and writing skills
* Help students to access the curriculum and build confidence in class
* Work alongside teachers to create tailored resources and interventions
* Encourage students’ personal, social, and academic development
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience supporting students with ESOL/EAL (school or community setting)
* Strong communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly
* Patience, adaptability, and empathy when working with learners from diverse backgrounds
* A positive, proactive approach to supporting students in the classroom
* Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential
