Maintenance Mechanical Engineer
Carbon60 is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused maintenance service at the Leeds Location.
ROLE: Maintenance Mechanical Engineer
PAY RATE: £17.85 PAYE
CONTRACT TYPE: 3 Months Contract
LOCATION: Leeds
SHIFT PATTERN: 4 days on / 4 days off
THE ROLE:
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the shift maintenance team
* Deliver a responsive, customer-focused maintenance service in a healthcare setting
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, testing, and inspections
* Ensure compliance with statutory, NHS, and company procedures
* Work a rotating shift pattern to provide 24/7 cover
* Maintain accurate records and complete service reports
* Support minor installation works and assist other trades
* Act as a Competent/Authorised Person when appointed
Systems Experience:
* Experience with heating, domestic water systems, AHUs, and electrical lighting and power.
* Knowledge of LV distribution, generators, fire alarms, emergency lighting, electrical control systems, and BMS.
Experience & Qualifications
* Time-served engineer with at least 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience
* Mechanical bias essential; cross-trade skills advantageous
* Healthcare experience desirable but not essential
