Our client is currently hiring a Network Manager to lead IT and digital services in Weston-super-Mare. This role offers the opportunity to combine hands‑on technical support with strategic input, shaping the school’s digital direction while ensuring reliable day‑to‑day operations.
What you’ll do
* Lead the day‑to‑day operation, support, and continuous improvement of IT systems and services
* Manage and develop the on‑site IT support team, including coaching and performance management
* Own service quality, availability, and user experience, ensuring effective incident and problem management
* Act as the senior escalation point for IT issues and service concerns
* Contribute to and deliver the IT and digital strategy in collaboration with senior leadership
You’ll work closely with school leadership, internal IT teams, and third‑party providers to ensure technology supports both educational and operational priorities.
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience managing or leading IT support services
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience with ITIL or structured service delivery frameworks
* Background in education or similarly regulated environments
* Strong technical knowledge across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and infrastructure
