A leading international construction firm with operations across Ireland, the UK, and Northern Europe is currently seeking experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineers to join a dynamic project team in North London. The company specializes in delivering complex, high-value projects across critical environments, including data centres, life sciences, aviation, and advanced manufacturing.\n\nThis is an opportunity to work on high-profile projects for blue-chip clients, in a stimulating and fast-paced environment that values quality, precision, and team collaboration.\n\nThe QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet or exceed quality expectations. This role involves close collaboration with the project team and client representatives and requires a thorough understanding of quality procedures across all phases of construction.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Develop and manage all QA/QC documentation across the project, including certificates, test results, inspection requests, non-conformance reports, and material delivery records.\n\n * \n\n Set and maintain quality standards for inspection and testing procedures, ensuring all processes align with project requirements.\n\n * \n\n Inspect and verify materials delivered to the site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and working closely with procurement and site teams.\n\n * \n\n Implement and monitor inspection and testing schedules, coordinate internal quality audits, and track non-conformances.\n\n * \n\n Support training initiatives to ensure team awareness and compliance with QA/QC standards and procedures.\n\n * \n\n Ensure proper processes are in place for lifting operations, storage of hazardous materials, and compliance with safety protocols.\n\n * \n\n Conduct ongoing analysis of non-conforming works and documentation, generating monthly reports to assess project performance.\n\n * \n\n Monitor and evaluate all construction activities for quality compliance, recommending and implementing corrective actions as needed.\n\n * \n\n Collaborate with Health & Safety teams to ensure method statements, risk assessments, and environmental analyses are properly documented and enforced.\n\n * \n\n Develop and maintain the project’s Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and QA checklists.\n\n * \n\n Liaise with the client team for material submittals, audits, and inspections.\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Third-level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline\n\n * \n\n Minimum 5 years' experience in a QA/QC role within the construction or engineering industry\n\n * \n\n Strong troubleshooting skills and a meticulous attention to detail\n\n * \n\n Proven ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment\n\n * \n\n Strong organisational and time-management skills\n\n * \n\n Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of relevant quality and building regulations\n\n * \n\n Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nThis is a great opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of complex, mission-critical projects while working in a collaborative and quality-driven environment
