Graduate Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor – 2026 Development Programme – UK-Wide

We are looking for a Graduate Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to support a variety of projects across the UK in establishing, monitoring and continually improving health, safety and wellbeing standards.
What you’ll do:
* Implement and monitor company health, safety and wellbeing policies on projects and ensure statutory requirements are met.
* Provide operational advice to managers on preventing accidents and ill health, and support preparation of risk assessments and method statements.
* Help prepare and review the Project Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan and carry out site inspections and audits as required.
* Assist with Health and Safety training and inductions.
* Investigate incidents and near misses, coordinate close‑outs and prepare performance reports.
* Actively engage with the Skanska Graduate Programme for professional development
What you’ll bring to the role:
* Studying towards or having completed a degree in Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health or similar
* Values driven and passionate about sustainability
* Enthusiastic about learning and developing new ways of thinking
* Able to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences
* You have a strong interest in innovation, sustainability and making a positive impact
* Willingness to work towards professional qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH
* This role requires visits to sites across the UK. As such, we would expect you to have a driving licence or work towards obtaining one within your first year of working with us.
