Job Description
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Driver to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting our clients and employees to various destinations across the city, ensuring a comfortable and timely experience.
* Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
* Transport clients and employees to designated locations throughout Lagos and surrounding areas
* Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or other items as needed
* Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle at all times
* Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation systems and knowledge of local roads to avoid traffic congestion
* Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate department
* Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing passenger needs and concerns promptly and professionally
* Adapt to changing schedules and last-minute requests with flexibility and a positive attitude
Qualifications
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Thorough knowledge of Lagos roads, traffic patterns, and alternative routes
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
* Strong communication skills in English
* Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
* Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
* Team player mentality with the ability to work independently when required
* High standards of personal grooming and presentation
* Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications
* Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
* Physical ability to assist with luggage and passenger needs
* Attention to detail in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and completing required documentation
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Previous experience as a professional driver or in the transportation industry is a plus
