PURPOSE The main purpose of the Head Facilities and Physical Security is to manage and ensure reliability of Auxiliary Infrastructure and Services to provide a suitable efficient and effective and safe working environment for PayInc and its employees. You will engage with the following stakeholders: Internal: • EXCO • Departmental Managers • All PayInc Employees • Risk/Audit/Procurement External • Contractors • Vendors • Regulatory Bodies • Landlords Your key responsibilities include: • Key responsibilities are applicable to all PayInc real estate • Ensure team and individual goals are aligned to BU strategy, documented, clearly understood and regularly reviewed • Identify and scope opportunities for improvement / innovation • Deploy client or company specific projects in line with company standards and in agreement with Line Manager • Manage and ensure Auxiliary infrastructure and services • Manage and oversee the PayInc Offices including PayInc real estate as and when required • Ensure a safe and fully functional processing and office environment • Manage Health and Safety function and ensure all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to • Manage allocation of office space as required • Ensure that auxiliary infrastructure and services are fully operational and maintained • Ensure office environment and facilities are maintained and reliable at all times • Ensure physical security is fully manned, trained and operational • Ensure contractors are booked and supervised at all times • Ensure access control is functional at all times and report as required • Ensure that all power related equipment is tested weekly and monthly and power simulations are run • Source all power requirements • Monitor and report on lifespan of all power equipment • Document a Load shedding management plan and ensure implementation as required • Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with landlords and all third parties • Manage SLAs with Facilities Management partners where applicable • Manage lease agreements and all forms of agreements with landlords and all applicable parties QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE • Matric • At least 8 years’ Facilities Management experience within the Facilities Domain • Managerial Experience 5 years • Data Centre Operations Experience • Required computer literacy levels • Facilities Management qualification (advantageous) • An understanding of Health and Safety issues • Ability to analyse facts and exercise sound judgment in arriving at conclusions • Planning and organising - Ability to develop long-term plans and programs EXPERIENCE • Planning and, Organising. • Managing of Facility orientated Projects • Good Communication Skills • Results Orientated • Good judgement and decision-making skills • Sound Knowledge of the Health and Safety standards and Legal requirements. • Facilities and Security Management • Managing SLAs with landlords and all third parties • Managing lease agreements
