Overview
We provide high‑quality home care across Newport and South Monmouthshire. Care assistants are expected to travel to clients’ homes, so a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
We compensate carers for every minute worked, including travel time and mileage.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and companionship
* Administer medication as directed
* Perform manual handling with appropriate equipment
* Promote health and wellbeing of clients
* Plan, prepare and cook meals
* Do shopping and undertake domestic tasks around the home
* Work 7 days a week, 365 days a year, between 7am and 10pm
* Be available every other weekend
Qualifications and Suitability
* Age 18 or older
* Full and valid UK driving licence
* Access to a suitable car or vehicle
* Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
* Excellent spoken and written English skills
* Previous carer experience not required; training and ongoing support will be provided
