Planning Officer needed in Nuneaton Paying £19.32 per hr ref 5298219 Full time hours on a temporary basis Key Responsibilities Process all types of planning applications, including: Registration and consultation Negotiations with applicants and agents Exercising delegated authority Preparing written statements for appeals Presenting evidence at hearings Deal with the discharge of planning conditions and monitor implementation of developments. Undertake consultations and negotiations, including matters relating to Section 106 Agreements. Present reports and applications to Planning Applications Committee when required. Attend public meetings and represent the service as necessary. Process Tree Preservation Orders, applications for works to trees, and matters relating to High Hedges legislation and anti-social behaviour concerns. Develop a working knowledge of related service areas including Building Control and Planning Policy. Provide professional advice and excellent customer service to residents, developers and stakeholders.
