The Role
This is a senior account development role focused on expanding existing NHS relationships through the sale of complex digital and SaaS solutions. You’ll work closely with account management, leadership, and solutions teams to identify growth opportunities, build compelling business cases, and close high‑value deals that deliver measurable impact for NHS organisations.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, develop, and close strategic expansion opportunities within NHS Trusts and ICBs
* Position digital experience and transformation platforms as critical enablers of NHS priorities
* Build trusted relationships with C‑suite and senior stakeholders across multiple NHS departments
* Own the full sales cycle, from opportunity qualification through to negotiation and close
* Develop robust business cases with clear ROI and value outcomes for NHS decision-makers
* Drive account penetration through cross‑sell and up‑sell of solutions across existing customers
* Collaborate with internal sales, leadership, and solutions teams to execute growth strategies
* Represent the business at NHS events, conferences, and industry forums to generate pipeline and credibility
* Monitor NHS policy, funding, and digital strategy trends to anticipate future opportunities
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Proven experience selling complex SaaS or digital solutions
* Strong track record selling into the NHS at C‑suite or executive level
* Experience growing revenue within existing accounts rather than pure new business
* Ability to manage long, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and complex propositions
* Commercially astute, target‑driven, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal development
* Confident using CRM systems (HubSpot or similar)
Advantageous
* Experience selling digital transformation, DXP, or enterprise platforms
* Background working across multiple NHS departments or large Trust structures
* Exposure to NHS digital, data, patient experience, or workforce transformation initiatives
