Your Role as SENCO:
* Lead the school's SEND strategy and oversee all SEND provision
* Work closely with students, staff, and parents to develop individual support plans
* Ensure compliance with SEND policies and statutory requirements
* Provide professional guidance and training for teachers and support staff
* Manage and coordinate a team of SEN professionals, including teaching assistants and learning mentors
* Liaise with external agencies, including Educational Psychologists and Speech and Language Therapists
* Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to support learning and development
Who We’re Looking For:
* A qualified SENCO (or a teacher currently working towards the SENCO qualification)
* A deep understanding of SEND policies, legislation, and best practices
* Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and support a team
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* A proactive and compassionate approach to inclusive education
