Salary: £34-40,000
A leading architectural practice celebrated for its work across heritage, conservation, and contemporary architecture is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join its collaborative studio in Cambridge. This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape a diverse portfolio of culturally significant projects that balance respect for historic context with innovative modern design.
The successful candidate will play a key role in project leadership and coordination, guiding design and delivery across all RIBA stages. This position is ideal for an experienced Architect with a passion for heritage and conservation, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to design excellence within a creative, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage projects across all RIBA stages, ensuring design quality and timely delivery.
Apply conservation principles and ensure compliance with heritage and building regulations.
Oversee design and technical development, producing high-quality, contextually sensitive solutions.
Manage client relationships and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
Integrate sustainable design strategies and innovative practices into all project work.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
Skills and Qualifications
Fully qualified Part 3 Architect with substantial UK project experience.
ARB registered.
Proven ability to lead projects through all RIBA stages, ideally within heritage or conservation contexts.
Strong technical and design skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and NBS, with solid coordination and documentation experience.
In-depth understanding of UK building codes, planning processes, and statutory requirements.
Confident communicator with strong leadership and client-facing abilities.
