Robert Half is recruiting for a Qualified Management Accountant to join a growing PE backed business based in South Birmingham close to Bromsgrove/Redditch.
The role of the Management Accountant will be to support the business with the day to day running of the Finance function and the timely and accurate production of monthly Management Accounts, budgeting and forecasting as well as providing KPI reports and analysis to the wider business.
Duties Include:
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts (including, preparation of month end journals; preparation of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statements; and monthly balance sheet reconciliations).
2. Provide analysis of key variances for inclusion in the month end reporting pack
3. Identify and improve key business wide processes and controls
4. Perform P&L Reviews
5. Preparation of quarterly VAT Returns.
6. Business partner with internal stakeholders
7. Support and assist with both quarterly rolling forecasting and annual budget setting processes.
8. Providing both training and holiday cover for other team members as required.
Requirements:
9. Finalist or Qualified Accountant
10. Experience with financial systems.
11. Ability to think on your feet and deal with queries in a timely manner.
12. A focus on attention to detail and challenging mindset.
13. Strong commercial acumen.
14. Good Excel Skills.
Budget:
15. £50k - £60k
