About the Role
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming one-form entry primary school in Prescot. This is a fantastic opportunity to support Year 6 pupils during a crucial stage of their learning journey, including SATs preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons and interventions in the absence of the class teacher.
* Support pupils’ academic progress and well-being, ensuring an inclusive and positive learning environment.
* Assist with classroom management, small group work, and targeted interventions for core subjects.
Ideal Candidate
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a primary setting.
* Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 6 SATs preparation.
* Ability to manage a classroom confidently and deliver engaging lessons.
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
