A leading global aerospace manufacturer is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a high-performing engineering and operations team. This organisation suppliesplex, safety-criticalponents to major aerospace OEMs and is continuing to invest in its UK manufacturing capability. This role offers the opportunity to work in a regulated, high-precision environment, supporting both new product introduction and ongoing production across advanced manufacturing processes.
Your new role
1. Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes to support production and NPI activities.
2. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, routings, and bills of process
3. Provide day-to-day engineering support to the shop floor, resolving technical and process issues.
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, delivery, and safety
5. Support industrialisation activities, including tooling, fixtures, and process validation
6. Ensurepliance with aerospace standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures
7. Collaborate closely with design, quality, supply chain, and operations teams
What you'll need to succeed
8. Degree or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace EngineeringProven experience in a manufacturing engineering role within an aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environment
9. Strong understanding of machining, assembly, orplex manufacturing processes
10. Experience working with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
11. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
12. Confidentmunicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
