KPI Recruiting are currently looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our client's Light Civils and Groundworks team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and skilled individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 07:45 – 17:30 Pay Rate: From £15.50 per hour This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a solid background in groundworks and civil engineering tasks. The ideal candidate will also be confident operating excavators under 10 tonnes. Responsibilities include: Laying concrete and bitumen surfaces to a high standard Installing underground drainage systems Completing dropped kerb installations to specification Carrying out general ground excavation tasks Performing light landscaping duties where required Key Requirements: Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices on construction sites A full UK driving licence with access to own transport A valid CSCS card Desirable Certifications: NRSWA (Street Works) certification Excavator ticket Trailer licence Experience Required: Minimum 4 years' experience in groundworks At least 3 years operating excavators (under 10 tonnes) Proven 4 years of light civils experience PPE Requirements: Safety boots are required All other PPE will be provided on-site This role offers long-term potential for the right candidate, with the opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent employment.
