Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
About You
We seek a curious, motivated, and enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in science and human health. The ideal candidate is eager to learn in a regulated laboratory environment, able to follow processes, pay attention to detail, and adapt to changing priorities. You should be team-oriented, proactive in problem solving, and able to communicate effectively. Prior experience is valued but not essential; enthusiasm and reliability are most important. This is a hands-on, physically active role requiring comfort with heavy equipment and laboratory materials.
Experience and Qualifications
We value attitude, curiosity, and commitment. Prior science experience can be helpful but is not essential. You may be a school or college leaver or someone seeking retraining. The program is designed for upskilling or reskilling in a chosen career pathway; applicants should demonstrate motivation to learn and grow with CrystecPharma.
How the apprenticeship works
Over 21 months, a minimum of 6 hours per week will be spent on off-the-job training, including theory (virtual lessons and online learning) and practical training (shadowing, mentoring, and assignments). You will be trained by a Tiro tutor and a CrystecPharma mentor to develop the knowledge, skills, and work habits needed to succeed. The apprenticeship is hands-on and allows you to earn a salary while gaining qualifications.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate that the program provides learning beyond current qualifications. If you already hold a Level 3, degree, or higher qualification, or substantial relevant experience, you may not be eligible for apprenticeship funding. You’ll need to be over 16, not in full-time education, have lived in the UK for 3 years and have the right to work in the UK.
