About the apprenticeship

Duties

Report to the senior quantity surveyors & preconstruction managers to assist with project management & co-ordination tasks as necessary.
Assist in the preparation of tender bids.
Assist with contract administration for live projects, including site visits liaising with multi-disciplinary teams.
Monitoring projects recording updates and reporting on progression of programme.
Attend and contribute to construction programme & contract review meetings,
General office administration duties adhering to internal governance and reporting templates.

Apprenticeship opportunities are open to A-Level and BTEC school or college students seeking to start a career in the construction industry, as well as individuals with existing industry knowledge or experience who are looking to transition into a professional construction consultancy role.
Key highlights of the apprenticeship include:
- Fully funded* degree apprenticeship with day-release study
- Exposure to a wide range of construction projects across various sectors and RIBA stages
- Structured training, mentorship and ongoing professional development
- Clear pathway towards professional chartership via the RICS and/or CIOB
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience while earning and studying, supported by experienced professionals within a practice Regulated by the RICS.

£21,157.50 - £24,784.50 Pro Rata
(plus Benefits after 6 Months including, Health Plan, 24 hr GP & Mental Health support and Group Life Assurance)

Requirements

Qualifications

5 GCSE’s including Maths, English & a Science
A Level: CCC
Welsh BACC: Grade C and CC at A Level
BTEC: BTEC Extended Diploma Merit Merit Merit
Access to HE: Pass Access to HE Diploma with a minimum of 96 UCAS Tariff points
T Level: Pass (C and above)

•Organised, reliable and professional, and a problem solver with the ability to think logically, you’ll have the initiative to start and complete tasks.
•It’s important that you possess good time management skills, can prioritise your work to meet agreed deadlines.

•Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail, able to gather, interpret and present data to facilitate preparation of budgets and subsequent valuations.
•Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
•Hardworking and honest individual, highly motivated and pro-active.
