The site is a state-of-the-art operation designed to process high volumes of residual waste while generating energy for thousands of homes. This role forms part of the Waste Operations Team and is responsible for supporting day-to-day waste receipt and residue processing activities, ensuring operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with site procedures. Role & Responsibilities or the Waste Operative; Work flexibly across waste operations to support efficient and compliant processing activities. Coordinate waste reception and residue disposal processes within the facility. Maintain waste reception and residue areas in a clean, safe, and tidy condition at all times. Process waste deliveries and residue dispatches in line with site requirements and schedules. Support Production and Maintenance teams during operational and maintenance activities. Operate across different areas of the site in line with shift rotas, providing additional support during periods of increased activity or operational disruption.
