An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Relief Ward Clerk to join our team, working on various wards within Scarborough Hospital.
The working days are Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day, 08:00 - 16:00, with occasional shifts from 07:00 - 15:00 or 12:00 - 20:00 depending on ward coverage.

Main duties of the job
This fast-paced environment provides care for patients admitted from GP consultations, clinic appointments, and via the Emergency Department. The successful applicant will cover all wards across the hospital. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, be team players, and enjoy working with the public. Computer skills are required; NHS experience is an advantage but full training will be provided.

* GCSE level or equivalent in English & Math (C or above) or demonstrable experience
* Computer literacy to RSA2, NVQ 2 or equivalent
* Experience in NHS office/administration roles
