Why Join Our Sales Engineering Team
We support one of the fastest-growing, yet historically underserved, segments in tech. As Sisense expands and introduces new product lines, this role offers the opportunity to work alongside a high-caliber team of Sales Engineers and leaders who have scaled companies from early-stage to $ 100 M+ ARR. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that blends deep technical expertise with business acumen.
Compensation Range
Base: £80,000–£90,000
Variable (on-top): £15,000–£20,000
What You’ll Do
* Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to demonstrate Sisense’s technical value
* Lead technical and business discovery sessions to qualify opportunities and shape solutions.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Customer Success, Professional Services, Product) to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales
* Build and own custom Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and complex technical assets using the Sisense analytics platform, including dashboards, data integrations, JS SDKs, REST APIs, and embedded React components.
* Share your expertise internally and externally through knowledge-sharing and enablement initiatives.
* Stay ahead of the curve through continuous learning and hands-on exploration.
What You Bring
* 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role - Sales Engineering, Professional Services, or Technical Account Management
* Ability to clearly explain and demonstrate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Self-starter with strong ownership and a collaborative mindset
* Proficiency in SQL and JavaScript (or frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue)
* Experience in BI, analytics, or data-centric products
* Bonus: familiarity with Python or another server-side language
* Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
* A passion for continuous learning and curiosity about emerging technologies
Your 90-Day Success Plan
By Day 30:
* Gain a solid technical understanding of Sisense and our differentiators
* Learn the sales process and technical engagement model
* Begin demoing the product and aligning technical solutions with customer goals
By Day 60:
* Join live deal cycles, assist AEs with technical questions
* Lead initiatives to improve trial experiences and PoC quality
* Manage 4–5 active opportunities in close collaboration with sales
By Day 90:
* Fully own technical relationships and solution design within your pipeline
* Drive best practices across pre-sales activities and internal projects
* Operate independently within a robust sales engineering framework
