Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs, helping them regulate emotions and engage in learning Build trusting relationships to encourage positive behaviour and emotional resilience Support pupils with challenging behaviour using de-escalation strategies and trauma-informed approaches Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement personalised support plans Create a safe, structured, and encouraging classroom environment The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, behavioural challenges, or trauma (in education or care settings) Be calm, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education Communicate effectively and work well within a team Be confident using behaviour support strategies and emotional regulation tools Be open to ongoing training and professional development This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need consistent, compassionate support.
