We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Global Human Resources to lead and scale our global HR function. As a key member of the executive team, the VP will be responsible for shaping and executing a people strategy that aligns with our rapid global growth, fosters an inclusive and high-performance culture, and supports the strategic objectives of a diverse, distributed software workforce.
This executive role requires a data-driven leader who can balance strategic vision with operational excellence across our international footprint, ensuring our talent strategy fuels competitive advantage in dynamic markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership for Tech Organizations
* Develop and implement a global HR strategy aligned with the company’s mission, values, and long-term objectives.
* Provide leadership to regional HR teams across multiple countries, ensuring alignment with global goals.
* Serve as strategic advisor to CTO and engineering leadership on org design, workforce planning, and talent strategy
2. Talent Ecosystem
* Architect global talent pipelines for critical roles and emerging capabilities
* Design leadership acceleration programs with 360° succession planning
* Oversee workforce planning, talent pipeline development, and succession planning.
3. Culture & Performance
* Cultivate high-performance engineering culture through data-driven people programs
* Implement agile HR practices tailored for R&D and product development teams
* Drive DE&I initiatives specific to technical workforce representation
* Drive cultural integration for M&A activities and market expansions
* Implement next-gen performance frameworks (OKR-based, continuous feedback)
* Oversee global employer branding and EVP strategy
4. Global HR Operations
* Ensure the smooth execution of all core operational HR processes across regions, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and HR service delivery.
* Oversee the consistent implementation of company-wide HR policies, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulations.
* Maintain rigorous compliance with all applicable labour laws, data protection regulations, and employment standards across jurisdictions.
* Lead policy governance and standardisation across international offices, ensuring that all HR policies and procedures are up to date, effectively communicated, and adhered to.
* Establish clear operational controls and audit mechanisms to minimise risk and drive transparency across the HR function.
* Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, and Compliance functions to ensure ongoing regulatory alignment and risk mitigation globally.
* Optimise HR service models, workflows, and technologies to enhance efficiency and the employee experience at scale.
5. Employee Experience and Performance Management
* Drive engagement initiatives and workplace culture programs
* Champion diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategies
* Resolve complex employee relations matters
* Implement and oversee performance evaluation systems
* Design incentive and recognition programs
* Analyse HR metrics to drive data-based decisions
Qualifications
* 18+ years progressive HR leadership
* 8+ years in global HR executive roles (managing teams across 3+ countries)
* Deep expertise in:
* Cross-border M&A integrations
* Digital HR transformation
* Proven experience managing HR across multiple countries and cultures.
* Strong understanding of global labour laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
* Demonstrated success in building scalable people operations in high-growth environments.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD).
Experience with HRIS platforms like Zoho People
