Senior Quantity Surveyor – Water Framework Projects

Our client, a leading national contractor, is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team delivering major works across a long-term water framework. This is an opportunity to be part of a high-performing business with a strong pipeline of work in the utilities and infrastructure sector.
The Role
You’ll take commercial responsibility for the successful delivery of water and infrastructure schemes. Working closely with project managers and operational teams, you’ll ensure effective cost control, contract administration and value optimisation across a variety of NEC-based projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage commercial performance across multiple NEC Option C and E contracts
* Lead on cost forecasting, reporting and change management
* Support tender and procurement activities with robust commercial input
* Develop and maintain strong client and supply chain relationships
* Provide guidance to Assistant and Project Quantity Surveyors within the team
About You
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Minimum 5 years’ experience working under NEC contracts, ideally with a tier-one or regional civil engineering contractor
* Proven track record delivering large utilities, water, or infrastructure projects
* Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication and negotiation skills
