Independent Financial Adviser - Preston

In this role, you will understand your clients' current and future financial goals and formulate easy-to-understand financial strategies, guiding your clients to financial independence.
This role offers home-based/remote working with access to office locations if preferred. There is an expectation to attend face-to-face client meetings.
Key Responsibilities as our Independent Financial Adviser include:
1. Follow the Six-Stage Advice Process to build long-term relationships and deliver excellent client outcomes.
2. Review and respond to clients' changing needs and financial circumstances, keeping introducers and clients up to date with new financial products or legislative changes affecting pensions, savings, investments, and financial plans.
3. Acquire and develop new business from new/existing clients and professional introducers through personal business planning, referrals, and company lead generation.
4. Utilize all marketing opportunities, including social media and networking, to develop new business.
5. Develop and maintain good client and introducer relationships through meetings, seminars, and feedback.
6. Contact clients to set up meetings, either in-office, at their homes or businesses, or virtually via Microsoft Teams.
7. Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial situations, analyze information, conduct research, and prepare financial planning reports tailored to individual needs.
8. Deliver accurate management information as requested.
What we are looking for in our ideal Independent Financial Adviser:
1. Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA approved equivalent) and maintenance of CF30 status.
2. A client-centric approach with a well-presented and articulate manner, committed to doing right by clients.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, professionalism, and IT skills to adapt to virtual/digital communication methods.
4. Experience in networking and business development to grow a client bank, including relationships with affinity groups, business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
