Store Manager – Ernest Jones, Outlet Store, East Midlands (DE55)
Our Store Managers are inspirational role models who aspire to continuously improve! As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for achieving the store’s targets through promoting the sales culture in‑store, building and inspiring a strong customer‑first team, ensuring compliance with company policies, and adopting a proactive approach to sales management. You’ll also oversee control of costs, payroll, shrinkage and expenses, and plan and organise operational activities within the store.
Responsibilities
* Achieve KPI targets.
* Control store costs, payroll, shrinkage and expenses.
* Ensure compliance with company instructions, policies and processes.
* Lead and inspire the store team, coaching and developing them to maximise performance.
* Interpret business data and set targets.
* Model customer‑first selling skills and provide exceptional customer experience.
* Build and maintain excellent client relationships for jewellery and watch sales.
Qualifications
* Excellent track record of achieving KPI’s.
* Experience holding accountability for managing the commercial performance of a store.
* Experience leading store teams.
* Experience with target‑setting and interpreting business data.
* Ability to inspire, coach and develop a team.
* Proven track record of role‑modeling and consistently delivering amazing customer experiences.
* Clear passion for our products and empathy for customers.

* Basic knowledge of legislative responsibilities (recruitment, employment law, health and safety, trading standards).
