LET’S CUT STRAIGHT TO IT
We’re looking for a Strategic Asset Manager to develop holistic, long-term Water Network solutions that will ensure we adapt and keep pace with our customer needs, growth and climate change. This is a great opportunity to join our team at our site in Derby or Coventry.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Develop and implement Network solutions for Growth, Resilience and WINEP.
2. Work with Strategy and Regulation department to produce a regulatory submission including the Business Plan for the PR Price Review.
3. Communicate and roll out PR plans to other internal stakeholders (including Senior Management) and gain buy-in for delivery.
4. Be a Technical project sponsor to advise developer services on our networks ability to accommodate both domestic and non-domestic growth
5. Oversee the investment plan for water networks totalling circa £m to £m per annum to ensure the project design delivers the benefit as per the business plan
6. Ensure that latest data, learning and best practice is incorporated into our plans and work with the innovation experts to identify exciting new opportunities
7. Build external networks of contacts and represent the Company on external groups.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
About You:
You will need to be a strategic thinker, problem solver with a strong grasp of water networks and hydraulics. It goes without saying you’ll have excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to influence colleagues of all levels effectively. You will work closely with stakeholders internal and external and work well under pressure to tight deadlines.
The ability to compile, analyse, interpret and present complex technical data sets is a must. We want someone who is both a team player as well and competent project sponsor who owns problems until resolution.
You'll also hold a full driving licence.
