School Sports Coach Benfleet £110 - £120 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) April 2026 The School and Role I am delighted to be working with a high-achieving school in Benfleet who are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic School Sports Coach. Our partnering Secondary school requires a School Sports Coach to support students in the absence of the class teacher and successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on daily supply or in longer fixed term supply contracts. As a School Sports Coach will be responsible for leading lessons in Physical Education in the Sports Centre. The school is looking for individuals who have a passion for PE and Sports and is able to manage a class of up to 30 students at one time with a good knowledge of Sports Coaching and Physical Education. You will be responsible for whole class teaching, but lessons will be prepared in advance for you. This School Sports Coach role offers flexibility, professional development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences. No prior experience working within a school is required, as we offer a Trainee Cover Supervisor Course to prepare you for the role.
