Shift Pattern – Monday to Thursday 42 hours per week (Monday 7am – 4pm / Tuesday – Thursday 7am – 6pm)

Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance Management: Carry out reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance activities to ensure machines are maintained in optimal condition, minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity.
* Safety Culture Promotion: Foster a safe working environment by actively driving a safety culture and identifying and eliminating safety risks within the production area.
* Team Development: Empower and inspire the production team by providing support and developing their skills, enhancing overall team capability and performance.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance work is completed to high engineering standards, adhering to good manufacturing practices and safe systems of work at all times.
* Continuous Improvement Participation: Engage in Autonomous and Maintenance Working Groups, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of various tools such as inspections, breakdown analysis, and maintenance strategies.
Qualifications & Ingredients for Success
* Engineering Qualification: Educated to apprenticeship level NVQ 3 or hold a recognised engineering qualification in either mechanical or electrical engineering.
* Continuous Improvement: A passion for continuous improvement and the ability to implement enhancements in processes.
* Preventative Maintenance: Knowledge of planned preventative asset maintenance practices.
* Problem‑Solving Skills: Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and problem‑solving methodologies.
* Lean Manufacturing: Understanding of lean manufacturing tools, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
* Hygiene and Safety Compliance: Ability to understand and adhere to strict hygiene rules and safety compliance standards.
