About the Role: As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and learning of children aged 3-5 years. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote independence, curiosity and social skills within a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through engaging learning activities Assisting with daily routines such as play, snack time, and outdoor activities Supporting children's emotional well-being and social development Providing one-to-one or group support to children with additional needs Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment Monitoring and recording children's progress and sharing observations with teaching staff Promoting positive behaviour and social interactions among pupils Assisting with the preparation of resources and classroom setup Requirements: Level 3 Early Years Qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare & Education) or equivalent. Previous experience supporting children in EYFS, ideally within a primary school setting. Understanding of the EYFS framework, child development and safeguarding procedures. Excellent communication, patience, enthusiasm and a nurturing approach. Caring, proactive, adaptable and committed to supporting young children's early learning journeys.
